These terms govern your use of SignedIt. We've written them in plain English — no legalese, no tricks. Please read them before using the service.
By accessing or using SignedIt at signedit.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service. By paying for and using SignedIt, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

SignedIt is an AI-powered interview preparation platform. The Service allows users to:
SignedIt is a preparation tool only. It does not guarantee employment, job placement, interview success, or any specific outcome. Results will vary based on many factors outside our control including the quality of information provided, the interviewer's preferences, and the candidate's performance.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that affect paid access.

By using SignedIt you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Service.
SignedIt does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the Service. Instead, access is granted through a session token — a unique code generated after your payment is confirmed by Stripe.
Your session token is your access credential. You are responsible for keeping it secure. Do not share your session token with others. Each session token is licensed for use by a single individual.
If you lose access to your session token or your browser data is cleared, contact us at support@signedit.app with your Stripe receipt and we will restore your access.
ℹ️ One-time sessions allow a single guide generation. Monthly sessions allow unlimited generation and expire after 30 days or upon cancellation. Company pack sessions allow unlimited generation for the specific company purchased.
SignedIt offers the following access tiers. All prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment information. All transactions are subject to Stripe's processing fees which are absorbed within our pricing.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies in your jurisdiction. SignedIt prices do not include sales tax, VAT, or GST unless explicitly stated at checkout.
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew every 30 days and your payment method on file with Stripe will be charged. You will receive a receipt from Stripe for each renewal. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 14 days notice before any price change takes effect for existing monthly subscribers. Price changes do not affect one-time purchases or company packs already purchased.
We want every SignedIt user to feel confident in their purchase. Here is our refund policy for each tier:
Because the prep guide is generated and delivered immediately upon payment, one-time purchases are generally non-refundable once a generation has been completed. If you experience a technical failure that prevented delivery of your guide, contact us within 48 hours and we will either regenerate your guide or issue a full refund at our discretion.
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review your request.
Company packs are non-refundable once purchased, as access is granted immediately and is unlimited in use. If a company pack is purchased for a company that does not yet have a framework in our library, we will either add the framework within 14 days or issue a full refund.
Email support@signedit.app with your Stripe receipt number and a brief description of the issue. We respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

SignedIt is built to help real people prepare for real interviews. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, legitimate purposes consistent with that mission.
Violation of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate termination of your access without refund. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation at our sole discretion.
SignedIt uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your personalized prep guide. You understand and agree to the following regarding AI-generated content:
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content critically before using it. SignedIt prep guides are starting points for your preparation — not scripts to be followed verbatim. We strongly encourage you to:
⚠️ Important: Misrepresenting your qualifications or experience in a job interview — regardless of the source of that information — is your sole responsibility. SignedIt is a preparation tool. What you say in an interview is entirely your own statement.
When you use SignedIt you submit content to the Service including your resume text, job description text, and optional research notes ("Your Content").
You retain full ownership of Your Content. We do not claim any ownership rights over your resume, job description, or any other content you submit.
By submitting Your Content, you grant SignedIt a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of generating your prep guide. This license terminates immediately when your session completes and Your Content is discarded, as described in our Privacy Policy.
By submitting content to SignedIt you represent that:
The SignedIt platform, including its design, code, branding, system prompts, skills dictionary architecture, company framework curation methodology, and all related materials are the intellectual property of SignedIt and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The personalized prep guide generated for you is yours to use for personal interview preparation. You may:

Company hiring frameworks, leadership principles, and values documents featured in SignedIt are the intellectual property of their respective companies. SignedIt references and organizes this publicly available information solely to assist candidates in their preparation. We make no claim of ownership over any company's proprietary materials.
If you provide SignedIt with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution. We appreciate every suggestion and use them to improve the product for all users.
SignedIt integrates with third-party services to operate. Your use of SignedIt is also subject to the terms of these services where applicable:
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or terms of any third-party service. Issues with payment processing should be directed to Stripe. Issues with our Service itself should be directed to us.

SignedIt does not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service. Interview success depends on many factors including your qualifications, the employer's needs, interview performance, and market conditions — all of which are beyond our control.
The company frameworks, interview questions, and skills gap analysis provided are based on available data and AI analysis. They are not endorsed by or affiliated with any of the companies named in the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SignedIt and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
In no event shall SignedIt's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to SignedIt in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SignedIt and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a monthly subscription, you may cancel through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting us at support@signedit.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if:
In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued. In the event we discontinue the Service entirely, we will issue prorated refunds for any unused monthly subscription time.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases. Any session tokens associated with your access become invalid. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or unauthorized access.
You agree to resolve any disputes with SignedIt on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or class-wide arbitration.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, applicable law, or business practices. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Because we do not collect email addresses, we cannot notify you of changes directly. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If we make changes that materially reduce your rights or increase your obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to display a prominent notice on the Service for at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
